We Are The Johnston County S.P.C.A. is a 501-C3 (non-profit) organization. We provide a haven for homeless, abused and/or neglected animals in our community. Our goal is to place these animals in loving and permanent homes. The S.P.C.A. receives no funding from local, county or state government. We are 100% supported by donations and dependent upon volunteers.
Adopting a friend
Our animal's health and welfare come first! Our adoption policy is strict, but fair. You must fill out an adoption application and be approved for adoption of any pet.
Dogs are adopted for inside or fenced areas only. Cats are adopted only to owners who will keep them indoors. If you are a renter, written permission from your landlord is required. All animals adopted are spayed or neutered and are UTD on all vaccinations before going to their new home. We do not make any profit from adoptions, however, the new owner is asked to pay veterinary costs, which usually total approximately $260 for dogs and $150 for cats. Donations are not required, however, they are always appreciated!
If you have any questions about any of our animals, please e-mail us at email@example.com. Be sure to include the name of the animal in your subject line.
