Who We Are
Founded in May 1994, the SPCA of the Triad is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue group located in Greensboro, NC. Animals reside in foster homes until permanent homes are found. All animals are trained, socialized, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, de-fleaed, and dewormed before being put up for adoption. In addition, cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV and dogs are tested for heartworms, started on heartworm preventative if negative, and microchipped.
A selection of our foster animals can be viewed at our pet fair every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Petsmart on Lawndale Drive in Greensboro. Also, cats and kittens are on display every day of the week at the Adoption Center in Petsmart on Eastchester Dr. in High Point.
