Missoula City-County Animal Control

6700 Butler Creek Rd
Missoula, MT 59808

Our Mission

Missoula Animal Control serves the entire Missoula County community.  In addition to being an adoption center we also are in charge of enforcing Animal Control laws.  Animal Control officers respond to calls of animal abuse or neglect, loose or stray dogs, injured animals, and animal owners that are breaking city or county ordinances.  The animal control office is responsible for the adoption center, dispatching officer's calls, licensing dogs, reuniting lost and found pets, and answering questions about animal control.
