NEWS! To date, we have rescued approximately 560 cats and kittens!!
The Montana Animal Rescue League, in cooperation with the Montana Spay & Neuter Task Force, Kootenai Pets for Life and Lincoln County, held a spay and neuter event in Libby, MT, during which 196 dogs and cats were altered.
We also held a no-cost spay and neuter event in Eureka, Montana, during which 272 animals were altered. This event was co-hosted by the Montana Spay & Neuter Task Force, Petco & Lincoln County.
WHO WE ARE!
The Montana Animal Rescue League is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal welfare organization that was formed for the purpose of:
Rescuing stray, homeless and abandoned animals;
Fostering and socializing rescued animals in a home
environment;
Providing necessary medical care for fostered animals,
including spaying and neutering;
Eventual adoption of rescued animals into loving homes;
Promoting responsible, compassionate pet ownership, and
eradicating neglect, abandonment, abuse and proliferation of
unwanted animals.
Adopting a Friend
To adopt one of our foster animals we require that you fill out an Adoption Application and Adoption Contract. This information will be kept confidential. The adoption fee is usually only the cost of the spay or neuter which is at a discount from average veterinary charges. At the time of adoption, a Medical Checklist will be given to you with pertinent medical information regarding your pet, including its approximate birthdate, date of altering, screening, de-worming, and any other medical treatment it may have received, in addition to any history we know about the pet. We adopt out our pets from Petco in Kalispell, located at the southeast corner of Hwy. 93 and Reserve. Please call to verify days and times, and to let us know what type of pet you're looking for!
