Cotton
Calico ;Medium Adult Female Cat Pet ID: 09-1209

Kootenai Pets for Life Inc., Libby, MT

Cotton showed her displeasure in having to share her home with a new baby by marking her territory. The harried parents decided she needed a home without small children. Cotton has not been showing any bad behaviors at the shelter, but she is stressed and would obviously love to be back in a home. We think this lovely kitty deserves just that.

This pet is up to date with routine shots.
This pet is already house trained.
This pet has been altered.

Ask about Cotton. Contact KPFL and make an appointment to see her or e-mail. Call (406) 293-5735.

He is accustomed to the out of doors, but needs a warm spot at night or on cold days. He is entertaining and fun. He also has a brother at the Shelter. Two beagles are even more fun than one!

We Moved Into Our New Shelter in August!

To all supporters of KPFL:   This has been a wonderful year!  When we began in 2001, our main goal was to end the use of euthanasia to control the abandoned animal population of Lincoln County.  In 2009, we signed a contract with the county to take over the care of impounded animals and find homes for them.  This ended the need to euthanize animals.  We have accomplished our main goal with your help.   We are asking for your support one more time.  We have constructed the new shelter on a wing and a prayer -- using very little money but lots of volunteer help and donations.  We find ourselves in dire need of an air exchange system in the cat area.  This device will bring in fresh air, warm it and maintain relative humidity so that the cats will be able to breathe better and be healthier.  The system will cost us $6,150 for just the cat area.  We would like to do the dog area as well but this is less critical at this moment.   Would you be able to help us yet again to accomplish our goals?  The new shelter is a wonderful home for our animals and is working well but the installation of the air exchange mechanism is critical to keeping them healthy.   Please send any amount of money you can afford to help us continue to take care of the stray and abandoned animals of Lincoln County.   Thank you for whatever you can do. Sincerely yours,   Eileen Carney President KPFL

Any money you donate is tax deductible as we obtained our Tax Exempt Status in 2002. Please send any donation to KPFL, Box 1454, Libby, MT 59923 or call (406)293-kpfl. Or e-mail.
