We have chosen Kuranda dog beds for our boarding facilities because they are so good for our dogs. We still don't have enough for all of our kennels. If you would like to donate a bed so another dog can sleep in proper comfort, please click here.

Our adoption fee is $30.00 for dogs and $10.00 for cats. This fee includes shots and spay or neuter, as well as a free adoption kit! Come see our remodeled facilities and meet our new staff today!

Who Are We?

The Southaven Animal Shelter is dedicated to placing our animals into healthy, loving homes. The Southaven Animal Control Division is run with a pro-active approach. We want to prevent the mistreatment of our city animals as well as keep pet owners aware of the proper care, shelter and protection a pet requires. We are desperately trying to help control the pet over-population by enforcing mandatory spay or neuter upon adoption. Please have your pet spayed or neutered if they are not already.

Adoption is the best route to take if you are looking for a new pet to add to your loving family. Our animals did not ask to be in a shelter, it isn't their fault they are living the life they are. Help make a dog or cat happy by giving him/her a home.

Come Visit Us!

5813 Pepper Chase Drive Southaven, MS. Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Saturday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Take I-55 to the Church Road exit. Go west on Church Rd. The next traffic light is Pepper Chase Drive. Turn right on Pepper Chase Drive and we are near the end of the street on the left.
