1. The Brookhaven Animal Rescue League is a volunteer-based organization. We depend on our volunteers to help with day-to-day treatment of our animals.
2. Please join us for Work Days every Saturday from 9 a.m.-11:30 a.m., at the BARL's new Adoption Center. Any and all volunteers are needed to clean water bowls, take photographs, scoop poop, and general cleanup. No skills required--just the love of animals. Who We Are
The Brookhaven Animal Rescue League is a NO-KILL, volunteer-based animal welfare group operating in Lincoln County, Mississippi. No animals are killed just because they are unwanted.
Adopting a friend
All League animals are spayed or neutered as young animals. All are healthy and current on vaccinations. All dogs have permanent microchip identification. Our adoption fee is $50 for dogs and $40 for cats, well below the cost of these treatments. For information contact

Adoption Days. League volunteers will be available at the BARL Adoption Center at the following times: Mondays & Fridays 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturdays 9 a.m.-11:30 a.m. - or by appointment. Stop by and see these wonderful animals and maybe find a friend.
