The Marshall County Humane Society is comprised solely of volunteers who simply love animals enough to try to make a difference in their lives. However, since this is a non-profit organization, we are in desperate need of donations in order to continue caring for and trying to adopt out our animals. . Spay and Neuter Clinic

The Marshall County Humane Society Spay and Neuter Clinic has found a new location across from the Byhalia City Hall. Dr. Isis Johnson, with the aid of a volunteer support staff, has performed over 9,000 spay/neuters to date. Call 662-564-2900 and leave your name and phone number to get an appointment. Every spay/neuter reduces the number of unwanted animals in our community.

If you don't want to donate money, please donate your time as a volunteer for the Humane Society. There is always something that needs to be done and we could always use an extra helping hand. If you'd like to become a volunteer or a foster home, please call us at 662-564-2900. We look forward to meeting you at our next meeting (Third Tuesday of each month at our Adoption Center on Eddie Smith Dr. near Hwy 7.)!
For Information on any of they animals shown call us at 662-564-2900 or E-mail us at DogsNCats11@gmail.com E-mail answered daily.

Who We Are

The Marshall County Humane Society is a non-profit organization made up of a very active and dedicated group of volunteers. Our goals are to educate people on responsible pet ownership and to reduce the homeless pet population through adoptions and spay/neuter. Come and join us at our monthly meeting held on the third Tuesday of every month. Call 662-564-2900 for meeting times and location.

Adopting a friend

Adopting a friend is something that we take very seriously. We have an application process and require that you meet with a Humane Society representative. There is a nominal adoption fee based on the animal's needs and to cover any costs that may have been incurred on the animal's behalf. We do require that all animals be spayed/neutered before leaving our care.

Come Visit Us!

We are very interested in keeping our pets people friendly and in an environment that is as close to home as we can get. Because of this concept, we have daily human contact with our animals at the Adoption Center or keep some of our animals in "foster home" settings. Our wonderful volunteers open their hearts and homes to adoptee pets until permanent homes are found. To visit any animal the the Marshall County Humane Society has for adoption, please call 662-564-2900 for an appointment.
