In addition to our "rescued" pets, the MCHS also has contact with people in our area who have sheltered stray puppies and cats. Many want to see them get a new home. If you don't see the animal you want on these pages, please call 662-564-2900 and let us know what you are looking for.

Spay and Neuter Clinic
The Marshall County Humane Society Spay and Neuter Clinic has lost our lease. Dr. Isis Johnson, with the aid of a volunteer support staff, has performed nearly 6,500 spay/neuters to date. This service is invaluable to the residents of Marshall County. Please mail a donation to our Clinic Fund at P O Box 625, Holly Springs MS 38635. If you know of a location that the owner is willing to let us use on a temporary basis, please call 662-252-6196. Every spay/neuter reduces the number of unwanted animals in our community.
If you don't want to donate money, please donate your time as a volunteer for the Humane Society. There is always something that needs to be done and we could always use an extra helping hand. If you'd like to become a volunteer or a foster home, please call us at 662-564-2900.
We look forward to meeting you at our next meeting (Third Tuesday of each month at the VFW Post on Highway 7)!

The Marshall County Humane Society is a non-profit organization made up of a very active and dedicated group of volunteers. Our goals are to educate people on responsible pet ownership and to reduce the homeless pet population through adoptions and spay/neuter. Come and join us at our monthly meeting held on the third Tuesday of every month. Call 662-564-2900 for meeting times and location.
Adopting a friend is something that we take very seriously. We have an application process and require that you meet with a Humane Society representative. There is a nominal adoption fee based on the animal's needs and to cover any costs that may have been incurred on the animal's behalf. We do require that all animals be spayed/neutered before leaving our care.
We are very interested in keeping our pets people friendly and in an environment that is as close to home as we can get. Because of this concept, we have daily human contact with our animals at the Adoption Center or keep some of our animals in "foster home" settings. Our wonderful volunteers open their hearts and homes to adoptee pets until permanent homes are found. To visit any animal the the Marshall County Humane Society has for adoption, please call 662-252-6196 for an appointment.
