Who We Are

The Columbus-Lowndes Humane Society is a non-profit, private organization that seeks to care for, shelter and place homeless pets in our community.

Adopting a friend is easy!

To be approved to adopt from our shelter, log in to our site and complete the Pre-Adoption Questionnaire. The adoption fee is $50.00 for cats and $65.00 for dogs. This includes the animal being spayed or neutered, first vaccination, worming, bordatella, and micro-chip for dogs. All animals are spayed or neutered before leaving the shelter.

Monday - Friday.......10 am - 5 pm

Saturday..............11 am - 3pm

Adoptions

Sunday................Closed to the public
