Online Donations!

Times are hard for everyone. Money’s tight, we know. On our site, you will find ways you can help. You might be surprised what even one dollar can do.

Mutts -n- Stuff depends upon donations. Any amount will help ensure that we can continue our work to rescue area dogs and cats in need. $2 will vaccinate a cat against distemper, $20 will neuter a dog. Please, help us help them.

The animals can always use one more to love them. Got heart? Wanna recycle a life? Come be a hero – we’ll show you how.

About Mutts-n-Stuff

Mutts -n- Stuff, founded in August of 2000, is an all-volunteer organization of foster homes, set up to rescue and find good homes for unfortunate animals. We have foster homes all over the St. Louis metro area ranging from the Festus area out to the Troy area and work with the Jefferson County, Gasconade, Franklin County, St. Louis County, and St. Charles pounds. We mainly foster puppies, dogs, kittens, and cats; however, we have had a pig, a chicken, a hamster, and a rabbit also.
We are an IRS certified, 501(c)(3) non-profit charity (so all donations are tax-deductible) and all of our foster homes are licensed by the state of Missouri. Because we are an all-volunteer charity, all donations go directly to helping animals in one way or another.

Our purpose is to promote interest and participation in the rescue, foster, and adoption of animals from area pounds, from owners who are dying or who have died, or who are in need of our help. Basically, we try to match animals in need with good adoptive homes. In addition, we are strong advocates of spaying or neutering your pets.

YASMINE

Say "Hello" to Yasmine!

Yasmine is a beautiful flashy mahogany fawn boxer girl, 5 yrs. old, cropped and docked, weighing about 53 lbs. She has big brown eyes that are always happy. She is housebroken, crate-trained, UTD on shots, micro-chipped, heartworm neg. and on preventative medicine, and on Frontline.

She loves to go for car rides and nice long walks. She is a very happy girl, always flashing you a big smile and a wiggly boxer tail. She is good with other dogs, but deserves to be "number one!" She enjoys being right up by you, snuggling, and giving big boxer kisses.

Yasmine was turned into a shelter when her owners lost their home and had to move into a very small apartment. They said she is a wonderful dog and did nothing to deserve losing her family!!!

Yasmine would like a loving forever home. Could it be your home? If you want a boxer girl who will light up your life for years to come, contact Mutts-N-Stuff. Even better, fill out an on-line application. Come meet Yasmine at our weekly "meet & greet" events. Places, dates, and times are listed on our website.

Adoption fee is $250, homevisit is required, secure fenced yard a must, and adoptions within a 50-mile radius of St. Louis ONLY.

BOGART

My name is Bogart, Bogey for short. No I do not play golf, but I am a very handsome guy, like the movie star. I am a very good boy! I would make a great cat for someone out there - I have lived with dogs, cats, older kids and just have a great disposition and nature. I am a happy boy.

I am looking for a new family because my previous family's job situation and I couldn't go. How sad is that? I will tell you. I was very very sad and felt like my world crumbled but now I am excited about finding a new family to love that won't abandon me this time. You see I fall madly in love.

Here are a few things about me that you might like to know:

  1. I LOVE to be petted. Love it, love it, love it.
  2. I love to squirm around on my back so you can give me tummy rubs while I purr and talk to you.
  3. I LOVE to play!!! I can find all sorts of fun little things to play with.
  4. Do you ever get sad? NO MORE!!!! I am a fun and happy cat and I can share that with you, it is contagious!! (I have enough for both of us)
  5. Do you get lonesome? Never again!!! I like to trot around after you and will talk to you some.
  6. I require a feather toy.
  7. You will never need to hit the snooze alarm again!! As soon as I hear your alarm, I am right there waiting for you to open an eye to help you start off your day.
  8. I like to be held and will snuggle my head into you while you pet me.
  9. Napping? YES. (need you ask) I love napping and especially with you!!! Sometimes I will even wrap myself around you if you are sitting in a chair and dream with you. I used to do that with the man in my previous home to watch Sunday football - the male bonding thing you know.
  10. My very favorite thing you ask? WINDOWS. I love to sit in a sunny window and watch the world go by.
  11. I purr and talk.
  12. I have excellent scratching habits - I LOVE my scratching post.
  13. I will follow you around and check out what you are doing. I am the checker outer of all things great and small.
  14. In my previous life I lived with an 8 yr old girl, a sassy girl cat who ruled the roost and a feline friendly dog. I now room with a crabby cat that doesn't like any other cats. Except me (if that tells you anything about me!)
  15. I am white with tabby patches (stunning if I do say so myself) and that perfect age of 4 yrs old.

Sincerely,
Bogart

Adoption fee is $95 for neuter, vaccines, felv/fiv test, microchip. Local St. Louis metro area adoption only.

SIMONE (Declawed)

Simone lost her home when her owner suddenly passed away. She became very withdrawn and unhappy, it traumatized her. It has taken her awhile to come out of it. She seems to be ok now and we think she is ready for a new home and someone new to love her. She is an undemanding quiet girl that loves her window and loves her treats of fancy feast.. She will talk a little bit and she will arch her back against your hand to really get the full benefit of her petting time with you. She is easily intimidated by other cats so we think she would be able to be her true self in a one cat home. She would be an excellent companion to a single lady or at least a quieter type of home with adults. She is an easy low maintenance girl that wants her own home again.

Simone is six years old and front declawed. Her adoption is $75 for a St. Louis area adoption. She is spayed, UTD on vaccines, felv/fiv tested, microchipped.
