we can continue our work to rescue area dogs and cats in need. $2
will vaccinate a cat against distemper, $20 will neuter a dog. Please,
help us help them.

Mutts -n- Stuff,
founded in August of 2000, is an all-volunteer organization of foster homes,
set up to rescue and find good homes for unfortunate animals. We have foster
homes all over the St. Louis metro area ranging from the Festus area out to the Troy area and work with the
Jefferson County, Gasconade, Franklin County, St. Louis County, and St. Charles pounds. We mainly
foster puppies, dogs, kittens, and cats; however, we have had a pig, a chicken, a hamster,
and a rabbit also.
We are an IRS certified, 501(c)(3) non-profit charity (so all donations
are tax-deductible) and all of our foster homes are licensed by the state
of Missouri. Because we are an all-volunteer charity, all donations go directly
to helping animals in one way or another.
Our purpose
is to promote interest and participation in the rescue, foster, and adoption
of animals from area pounds, from owners who are dying or who have died,
or who are in need of our help. Basically, we try to match animals in
need with good adoptive homes. In addition, we are strong advocates of
spaying or neutering your pets. In fact, when funds permit, we provide
help for those who can't afford to have their pets spayed or neutered.

This big handsome happy boy is 3 yrs old. He is a lab mix - he looks mainly lab with white toes and some white on his chest.. About 75 pounds. He is very friendly and has a happy disposition. He is always very happy to see you. We do not know his history as he was picked up as a stray in a rural shelter and sat there in a little cage for a month - no one claimed him and was a day away from being euthanized.
He likes to be outside and appears to have been a housedog as he likes to be inside too. He likes to go for walks. He will fetch a ball - he likes balls - and bring it back to you. He is learning sit and caught on fast so we think he will catch on quickly to training. He wants to spend time with you, wags his tail a lot, loves when you pet him, or talk to him. He also does fine with other dogs. He needs to be placed in a home without cats.

You know what they say about big boys... they have big hearts. Reggie is a true love bug in every sense of the word. Cuddle time is his favorite part of the day, but don't get me wrong running and playing are a close second. Proven true to the breed, he is great with kids and adults alike, taking careful consideration with the little guys (most of the time) he is still a pup you know. Reggie gets along great with other dogs but if he is going to live in a home with one they will have to be just the right dog. Reggie likes being dominant but he will submit to a true alpha canine woman. Bulldogs have his heart and he could live with male or female (don't ask why it is just what we have found from experience when we have had bulldogs as fosters). Cats and furry critters would have longer lives if they don't live with Reg, he sees them as a fun game of chase. So if you think Reggie is the right fit for you, make a date to meet this hunky big boy.
Kit Kat was turned into a shelter due to "allergies". She is a beautiful cat with a Persian coat - but not the Persian face. She had lived with her family for 5 years, since she was a kitten. Not surprisingly, she was very traumatized at losing her home. She is a sweet girl that loves attention and loves petting.
Once she transitions into a new home where she can be happy again, she is a lovely cat and her previous family describes her as follows:

She loves play toys and chases paper across the floor.
She is easily entertained by shadows on the wall.

HELLO! My name is BOGART! Here are a few things about me that you might like to know:
I LOVE to be petted. Love it, love it, love it.
I love to squirm around on my back so you can give me tummy rubs while I talk to you.
I LOVE to play!!! I can find all sorts of things to play with.
Do you ever get sad? NO MORE!!!! I am a fun and happy cat and I can share that with you, it is contagious!! (I have enough for both of us)
Do you get lonesome? Never again!!! I like to trot around after you and will talk to you some. I want to do what you are doing.
I require a feather toy.
You will never need to hit the snooze alarm again!! As soon as I hear your alarm, I am right there waiting for you to open an eye to help you start off your day.
I like to be held and will snuggle my head into you while you pet me, sometimes will even sit on your shoulder if you let me, while we walk about the house, like I used to do with my previous owner.
Napping? YES. (need you ask) I love napping and especially with you!!! Sometimes I will even wrap myself around your neck if you are sitting in a chair and dream with you. I used to do that with the man in my previous home to watch Sunday football - the male bonding thing you know.
My very favorite thing you ask? WINDOWS. I love to sit in a sunny window and watch the world go by.

In my previous life I lived with an 8 yr old girl, a sassy girl cat who ruled the roost and a feline friendly dog. I now room with a crabby cat that doesn't like any other cats. Except me (if that tells you anything about me!)
I am white with tabby patches (stunning if I do say so myself) and that perfect age of 4 yrs old.

Petting required!!!
I like laps. And will purr and purr when you and I are sharing laptime. Or even if I'm laying next to you while we watch TV or when I'm helping you work on the computer, my motor really gets going.
You can usually find me sleeping with my person at night. I like to hang out with my person.
Sometimes when I sit behind you on the back of your chair, I'll style your hair for you. I do a lovely job. And I might throw in a shoulder massage - I will knead on your shoulders.
I can do something many others cannot do - I come when I'm called!
My favorite room is the bathroom. You might find my nosey self peeking around the curtain when you are taking a shower, I worry you will disappear down the drain.
Must have someone that can carry on a conversation with me when the mood hits me. I don't talk all the time, but sometimes a boy just has to get things off of his chest! I am very expressive and a big baby at heart.
I need to be picked up and fussed over once in awhile, you can even hold me like a baby if you like. In fact, you can hold me any which way.
I have a very cute no maintenance beard - no shaving required.
I don't talk about it much but I have a cute face and cute squiggly markings.
Someone that will be sure to share the little milk rings with me (and assorted other cheap and totally fun things that I find around the house to play with, I like to play sometimes).
A nice soft plushy place to sleep and lots of good tv programs to watch with you.
Someone that doesn't mind if I follow them around the house, just to see what they are doing and make sure they are doing it right. I might even make suggestions.

Foster Notes Squiggles is a comical and affectionate boy, you never have to wonder what he is thinking. He is quite the character, everyone likes Squiggles and he seems to like everyone too.
