Who We Are

West Plains Regional Animal Shelter Mission Statement: Our Mission is to provide a safe haven for homeless, rescued, injured, abandoned, abused and unwanted animals. (We have limited space, therefore we will only take animals by appointment only and when we have room). To promote and educate the public of the benefits of spay and neuter programs, find homes for and educate the public on care, handling, and joy of animals. Also, to encourage yearly vaccinations against rabies for dogs and cats in compliance with Missouri state law. We strive to provide a service to the community which has a positive impact on the environment and society. The humane treatment of animals and educating the public is our highest priority. All rescued animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and adopted into hopefully lifetime, loving homes.
