Long Veterinary Clinic is a mixed animal practice located in Kearney, Missouri. Dr, Leighr the owner of the facility began working with Orscheln's Farm and Home years ago in helping the community with finding home for lost and mis placed pets. We have since grown to a point where we could not use Orscheln's facilities and work completely out of the clinic now. We work with the City of Kearney, Clay County Park Rangers and the Clay County Sheriff for when they pick up a dog and can not find the owners we find new homes once a ten day hold is up. We also work with individuals in finding their pets new home due to different circumstances. We don't get to adopt out many, but we try to adopt out as many pets as possible and find new forever home. We have recently revamped the Adopt A Pet Program in late 2016. We want to thank everyone who has adopted, shared, or helped out in anyway since the program started.
