Who We Are
Wayside Waifs, Inc. is an independent, not-for-profit humane society and animal welfare organization. Our mission is to provide for the well being of unwanted companion animals; to place as many animals as possible in responsible homes; to educate the public on the humane treatment of pets; to offer cemetery services; and to help reduce pet overpopulation by spaying and neutering adopted pets.

Adopting a friend
We appreciate your interest in adopting a homeless companion from Wayside Waifs. We understand that becoming a pet guardian is a big responsibility. Pet companions require space, money, time and energy but with adequate preparation and education becoming a pet guardian can be a wonderful and rewarding experience.
