Hello!
We are a very small independent rescue effort. We have many adoptable cats who would just love to have a forever home with their very own people!
If you think you can give them that home, check us out.
Adoption fee is $65 and covers spay/neuter, vaccinations, and other appropriate vet care when needed.
Who We Are
We are True Treasures Rescue, a mother and daughter working to save the world, one kitty at a time. We believe that none are trash -- they are all truly treasures!
We got our name from a tiny kitten that someone decided was trash and threw out of a car window on a country road. We declared that tiny piece of "trash" a treasure and a dream was born.
Adopting a friend
When you choose to adopt a pet from us, there is an application that must be filled out and approved before you can take a pet with you. You are welcome to make an appointment to come and look at the cats anytime, but you may not take one until the application has been approved.
If you fill out the application with one cat in mind and the application is approved, you are eligible to adopt any of our cats, not just the one you specified.
Upon approval of an application and selection of a cat, we require you to bring an appropriate carrier for your Treasure when you arrange pick-up.
We do not take owner-surrendered pets!!
All of our treasures are pulled from shelters or other rescues!
