Paws For Consideration
Our Adoptable Pet List
Just the DOGS
Just the CATS
Donations are desperately needed to help with vet bills for numerous animals currently under medical care and for past medical care.
Donations directly to WEBSTER GROVES ANIMAL HOPSITAL would be greatly appreciated. They accept Money Orders, Cashier Checks or Cash. 8028 Big Bend Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63119 (314)968-4310
Or if you would like to SPONSOR a dog or cat in need, just let us know! Then we will search for a foster home and rescue an animal out of the pound!
Or visit our Website and click on Donate Online and all donations go straight to the vet bills!
To date, Paws For Consideration has saved over 2,000 Homeless Animals from being euthanized! PFC treats all illnesses when the vet says they will be able to lead a healty/normal life after recovery. (Costly Parvo and Heartworm Treatments have really taken a toll on the group).
UPCOMING ADOPTION EVENTS Please Email us for more upcoming events or if you would like to meet a certain animal at your convenience!
Volunteers are always needed and welcome. Please inquire if interested!
Can't wait to meet that special pet? Email or call for an appointment!
See adoptable Dogs, Puppies, Cats & Kittens! All of our puppies, kittens, dogs and cats must be fully vetted prior to going home with their adoptive family. That includes spay or neuter, vaccinations, microchip and must be deemed heartworm and parasite free. So if your looking for your forever family member and they are in the transition of completing their vetting applications and homechecks may be completed so that when your new pet is ready so are you!

Foster Homes Urgently Needed! Please contact us!
Why are Foster Parents Needed?
Temporary foster families are needed for a variety of reasons. The three most common reasons are:
Limited shelter space - The number of animals received at a shelter is sometimes overwhelming and adequate housing is not available. Foster homes provide shelters with an additional option until a space becomes available.
Treatment and care after an illness or injury - Foster parents provide sick and injured animals with the additional time, medication, and space they need to recover. This may include time to recover from emotional, fear, or stress based situations that the animal may have encountered in the past.
Extremely young animals - Young animals, such as kittens and puppies, which are not yet weaned, require special attention. Unweaned orphans require a serious commitment since they have special needs such as diet and frequent feeding schedules. One of the greatest rewards of nurturing these young animals is knowing that you are giving them a great start in life.
Without the additional time and care provided by temporary foster families, many of the animals that fall into the above three categories would be euthanized. Please contact us to help! Or visit

Who We Are
Paws for Consideration is a non-profit all-volunteer animal advocacy organization. We are dedicated to finding compassionate responsible foster homes to assist in the rescue of animals that end up with a death sentence at the shelters in our community. To address the overpopulation crisis, we actively promote spay and neuter programs through educational information and paid advertisements. We receive no local, state or federal funding. Donations from concerned citizens and fundraisers are our only source of income. We are a 501(c)3 group! All donations are tax deductible!
