Who We Are
BARC (Benefitting Animals through Responsibility and Compassion) is a non-profit, all volunteer animal welfare organization. We have rescued thousands of animals from shelters and off the streets since 1997.

BARC has provided over 5,800 free spay/neuters for pets of low-income families since 2003 There is no other program like ours anywhere!! In 2007 we fixed 1738 pets for needy families! So far in 2008, we've fixed
over 1800 pets.
Please not we are NOT a shelter, we are not able to accept any dogs, puppies, or adult cats at this time.
