We do not SELL potbellied pigs. Adoption fees are minimal and go toward veterinary, food and housing expenses
All pigs are spayed/neutered vaccinated and wormed.
Who We Are
Planet Pig is a 501c3 nonprofit potbellied pig sanctuary dedicated to the love and care of unwanted, abused and abandoned pigs; education of the public on the care and special needs of the pigs; and, limited adoptions to qualified, very special homes.
Adopting a friend
Although most of the pigs here at Planet Pig will live out their lives here, we do have some who would benefit from having the individual attention of a very special family or individual who understands them and is willing to give them a life-long commitment of care and affection.
All potential adoptors will be sent an adoption packet and pig parenting kit. Before considering adoption of a potbellied pig, please do some research to determine if a pig is the right pet for you. We make sure that any potential home will give one of our pigs the care and love it deserves. These animals are our babies and we carefully screen all potential adoptors.
If you do not feel you want to go through the adoption process, maybe you should look elsewhere.
An adoption contract will be required. .
