Our pet of the week!

Archie was born around the first of Dec. '07. He looks like he is a black Lab with some pointer and maybe some Walker hound. He has turned out to be a big gorgeous man. He has lots of energy so it would be nice if he were adopted by an active family that can spend time working with him. He would be perfect for some one or some family who likes to run, walk, jog or hike or who has kids for him to run and play with. Then Archie would be perfect for you. He needs lots of exercise to keep him happy. He is now much better behaved and listens pretty good. He is trained to use a doggy door. Some obedience training would be great for him. He is eager to learn and always happy to please. He loves to be praised when he does good. He will sit and shake and he really likes hugs. If you'd like a new companion and exercise buddy, send for an adoption application and help us give this baby a new home. preciouspets@wildblue.net Call 573-379-5634 .

If you're not ready to adopt yet but would like to help these animals to get the medical care and food they need and deserve, you can now make a donation by clicking on the button above. Any amount, no matter how small would be greatly appreciated. I thank you and the animals thank you.

Who We Are

We are a party of one animal lover who hates to see precious loving animals go unwanted and uncared for. I take animals from kill shelters and other places where they may have been neglected or abused and make them well and happy so they might find a good loving home. I do not have a shelter or a kennel. Each animal is placed in my home and they are vetted and get all the medical care needed to make them healthy for adoption. I do not have any foster homes so some of my animals are in boarding at Tri-County Vet in Sikeston. It takes a lot of money to vet these animals and a whole lot more when you have to pay boarding fees on top of it. My funds come strictly from donations (which are very few) and fund raisers. Right now I am in need of funds and also foster homes so I can save more animals. If you'd like to foster an animal please contact me at preciouspets@wildblue.net. Or if you have any fund raiser ideas you'd like to help with, I'd love to hear from you. If you look in my dogs eyes, you'll see love, happiness and confidence. I love each and every one of them and I teach them to love in return. When you adopt from me, you'll adopt a healthy and happy dog.

Adopting a friend

When you adopt a new friend from us, we'll help you as much as possible. We'll try to insure that you get a healthy pet and one that is happy and suits your live style. If you are interested in adopting, we can e-mail you an adoption application and you can fill it out online or you can print it and then fill it out. Depending on where you live, we may also be able to help with the transport to make the trip shorter for you. Although funds are very limited , we'll do what we can. Hope you find our pet notes informative and that they answer all your concerns. If not, please call or e-mail preciouspets@wildblue.net .

Come Visit Us!

If you'd like to come visit us and see our animals in their familiar surroundings, you are very welcome to do so. We just ask that you let us know in advance so we will be sure to be home. We are not a kennel and we do not have regular hours. You can come any day of the week, even weekends. We are located 10 miles outside of Portageville, Mo. Portageville is located right on Interstate 55 between the 32 and 33 mile markers. That's about 110 miles north of Memphis, Tn and about 190 miles south of St. Louis, Mo. So come on by and visit with our animals.
