ADOPTING A FRIEND: The adoption fees include all vetting that can be done to the animal based on size and or age. Canines include SPAY/NEUTER, MICROCHIP, HEARTWORM TESTING AND STARTED ON PREVENTATIVE, BORDETELLA, ALL SHOTS INCLUDING RABIES, FECALS, DENTALS IF NEEDED, EAR CHECK AND FRONTLINE FOR FLEAS. Felines include SPAY/NEUTER, MICROCHIP, AND ALL SHOTS. We do occassionally ask for a higher adoption fee because vetting was more expensive for that animal or because it is a "most wanted" breed which allows us to collect a little extra donation to help those left behind at the shelter. We also have several dogs with sponsors which makes their adoption fee lower in an effort to get them placement.
