We are a licensed non profit rescue. Our focus is dogs under 20 lbs and guinea pigs. We DO NOT have a facility. Our animals are placed in loving foster homes. We are always looking for foster homes for our animals. If you are interested in fostering or adopting one of our beautiful creatures, please email us at email@example.com for more information.
Our adopters are required to fill out an adoption application. The application is a basic form asking for general information about you and your family. The questions are geared to help us determine a good fit between our animals and potential adopters. We do require vet information and personal references. You can expect a phone call within 24 hours of our receiving your completed application. If you do not hear from us within in that time period, please contact us again. Email is our preferred mode of communication.
Where Do Our Animals Come From?
Our animals come from a variety of sources. We work closely with the Humane Society of Missouri. We receive animals when their shelter is full. We work with local vets to assist them in rescue and owner surrender situations. We also take private owner surrenders when room permits. Our dogs are seen by a vet and updated on vaccinations. They are given a routine check up and treatment is provided when necessary. Our dogs are spayed or neutered before leaving our facility. In the event the animal is too young for the surgery, an agreement to alter contract will be required at the time of adoption. We will follow up with you and your vet. Receipt of alteration will be required, as well.
Our animals need patient, animal-loving individuals and families to love and care for them during their time of need. We provide cages, crates, food and anything else your foster animal will need while in your care. You provide plenty of TLC. Foster homes are also asked to transport to and from my home and to the vet when treatment or surgery is required. You can volunteer for short-term, emergency care or whatever is needed care. To fill out an adoption application or apply for our foster home program, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will send you an application as soon as possible.
