My name is "Baxter." I belonged to an elite group of kitties under a progressive new program in a nearby town known as the feral cat ordinance. My caretaker passed away, so I am in search of a new home. I am a very friendly and curious boy who likes to help you with everything you do. I am looking for an indoor only home. For further infomation about me, please contact the sanctuary at firstname.lastname@example.org.
HFLCS sponsors the Buffalo City Pound. Through our Outreach Program, we provide food (both canine/feline), litter, toys, treats for the animals housed at the Pound. We provide equipment, some medical needs, and fund raising for the benefit of the Pound. In February of 2004, the sanctuary was licensed by the Missouri Department of Agriculture. Our "Pause for Paws" Fund raiser raised $25,000 to build an adoption facility for both canines and felines at the Buffalo City Pound. Once the building is completed, it will be donated to the City.
Who We Are
We are a Missouri 501(c)(3) non profit organization that provides a lifelong home to no more than 135 felines. We offer sponsorship of our sanctuary residents for $15 per month. We specialize in the homeless feline with handicaps, some medical special needs, and seniors. We offer a loving environment with their feline home designed for their needs. Our residents are family.
Adopting a friend
At this time, we assist in offering an adoption program for both felines and canines at the Buffalo City Pound through our outreach program. We strive to find permanent, lifelong homes. From our adopters we require loving humane care, indoor only homes for the felines, and a return policy for the lifetime of the adopted animal.
