When you come into our shelter, you'll find 100 to 150 dogs and cats waiting to find a new home. Each has been evaluated to assess its health and temperament. Our adoption counselors will help you find your perfect companion.
Our adoption fees include the costs of spaying or neutering each animal, microchipping for easy identification, preliminary medical testing and vaccinations. Our current fees are: Dogs/Puppies: $200 Cats/Kittens: Pick Your Price
We have discounted rates for senior citizens (60 & over) who adopt. We also have special discounts when you adopt a pet 5 years or older or one who has been at the APA for 6 months or longer.
We update these listings frequently but because of our high number of adoptions and new arrivals daily, they are never 100% up to date. If you'd like to make sure a certain dog or cat is still here, you may call us with the animal's name and its 3-digit ID number. However, we do not confirm adoptions or "hold" pets by phone.
