OPERATION STERILE FERAL (OSF)......A Spay/Neuter Clinic for Feral and Barn Cats. One Sunday most months By Appointment Only. Fee's start at $15.00 per cat. Call 314-995-9266

Time to microchip your pet! Microchipping available during normal business hours at Midrivers Adoption Center. Fee: $10

For a limited time Midrivers Adoption Center together with All Paws Rescue will heart worm test your dog and provide 1 year of heart worm preventative to low income families. $15 nominal fee. Help us keep our cats and kittens happy while they are with us. We need donations of shoeboxes and cat toys. We are accepting applications for volunteers. We need to fill the following positions: Animal Care Attendants Shelter Assistants Adoption Counselor Pet Playmate - (exercise dogs and cats) Off site adoption assistant
Who We Are
St. Charles County Pet Adoption Center is a full service animal shelter. Our Animal Control Officers work throughout St. Charles County to protect animals and people and educate animal owners about responsible pet ownership. At our Pet Adoption Center, we take in strays for safe keeping until their owners come to claim them. We offer microchipping services to the public during our regular business hours. The Pet Adoption Center always has a large variety of dogs and cats available for adoption.
Adopting a friend
To adopt a pet, we encourage you to visit the Pet Adoption Center as often as you like. You will be asked to fill out an adopton application and speak to a staff member who will help you make your selection. We are happy to keep your information on file and work with you to the best of our ability to help you find the perfect pet. Adoption fees are $60.00 for puppies 4 months and younger and dogs 5 months and older are $50.00. Cats 5 months and older are $30.00 and kittens 4 months and younger are $40.00 this includes, spay or neuter, microchip, worming, some vaccinations, and either a feline leukemia test or heartworm test.

We are located across from the St. Charles Community College, approximately 3 miles south of I70 and 1 mile north of Hwy 94 on Mid Rivers Mall Drive. We also do outside adoption events at different locations.
