Our Featured Pets...

Toby
Toby is a 7-8 month old male Lab/Shepherd mix. He is an absolute love bug and does not realize how big he is. Toby is still in the goofy puppy stage and can entertain you for hours with his antic's. He L-O-V-E-S water whether is is out of a hose or in a swimming pool. Keeping your floor dry in the house is a problem if the water bowl is on the floor where he can play in it! Toby is not housebroken yet but is crate trained. He plays well with other dogs and is O.K. with cats.

Briei
Brie is a 1 year old female. She is a very people friendly cat. Brie was abandoned at Petsmart in a taped up box. She got out of the box and was loose on the parking lot for about a month before someone caught her. Brie is very happy she was caught! She is living the good life now and is ready for a permanent home. Brie is current on shots, microchipped, spayed and Felv/FIV negative.

FREE SPAY OR NEUTER FOR
DOGS 45 POUNDS OR LARGER

Pound Pals NOOTERVILLE program will issue a voucher for a free spay or neuter if your dog weighs 45 pounds or more at the time of surgery. The vouchers are good at any one of our five veterinarians. Call 314.776.SPAY to get more information or to leave a message for one of our volunteers.
NOTE: This program is in addition to the program for St. Louis City residents that is referenced on our voicemail box.

ANIMEALS is a new program through the St Charles Humane Society. AniMeals is a food pantry for the pets of individuals on limited incomes. Many people are forced to give up their beloved pets due to unforeseen circumstances changing their income or life, just when then need each other most. They are currently helping approximately 40 families and 100 animals stay together. They feel that this service will help prevent these animals from becoming homeless, allowing them to care for other animals that might not have a chance otherwise.
Who may receive AniMeals?
Anyone with proof of need such as a letter from the Department of Family Services, a referral from a human food pantry or a letter from a church leader explaining the need will be accepted. The program is meant to be supplemental, not necessarily a complete feeding program. A maximum of 4 pets per household will be provided for each month with specific amounts of food allowed per cat and by the size of the dog. Go to the shelter during the hours listed below with your letter of proof and photo ID and we will get you enrolled in the program. They do require another letter of need after 6 months of being in the program to establish the continued need for assistance.
When are supplies available?
The AniMeals pantry is open on Sundays from 1-3 PM, Tuesdays 9-11 AM and Thursdays 4-6 PM. This program is stocked entirely by donations, and participants should call ahead to ensure supplies are available.
How can I help?
Food donations may be dropped off at the shelter anytime. The pantry is staffed entirely by volunteers. If you would like to help them with this program, or you have questions, please contact the shelter at 636-949-9918

Saturday Sept 6th - All Paws Rescue will be participating in the City of Ofallon's First Annual Doggie Day from 8:30 - 2:30. We will have a booth and some pets for adoption. The day consists of a 5K run, a dog swim, and games and prizes throughout the park.

Friday Sept 12th - Sunday Sept 14th -Petsmart Adopt a thon. We will be in Wentzville on Friday night and Sunday, Bridgeton on Sunday (with cats) and at St Charles and Ofallon on Saturday. 10 - 3.

Sat Sept 20th - Pet Adoption at Ofallon, Mo and Bridgeton Petsmart stores.

Friday Sept 19th and Saturday Sept 20th - All Paws Rescue will have a booth at the Strassenbash in Wright City, Mo.

Sat Sept 27th - Pet Adoption at the Bridgeton and Wentzville Petsmart stores. 10 - 3.

Sun Sept 28th - All Paws Rescue will have a booth and pets for adoption at the Petpalooza at Dusable Park in St Charles from 10 - 3.

WELCOME SNUGGLE!
SNUGGLE is a new group founded under All Paws to help with the large amounts of stray and abandoned cat and dog moms that come into rescue and are too weak to take care of their babies. SNUGGLE puts the babies and special needs mothers into foster homes that can care for them 24 hours a day. When the babies are ready to be adopted, they return to the group that first took them in. Who We Are
"All Paws Rescue, Inc." was founded in 2003, as an all volunteer, non-profit, foster home, animal rescue organization. We are an IRS certified charity, licensed by the state of Missouri. Although we are presently based in St. Charles County, our scope of operation extends into neighboring counties.

Adopting a Friend
Our adoption fee for dogs is $125 and $90 for cats, regardless of whether the pet is a pure breed or a mixed breed. All of our pets are Vet checked for health, spayed or neutered, wormed, up-to-date on all vaccinations and micro-chipped. Dogs are tested for heartworm, treated if necessary, and placed on preventative. Cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV. All injured pets receive any treatment or surgery needed to restore them back to good health!
We believe this is a bargain price for a pet; and that if you check the costs of these services with your Vet, and add them to the cost of a pet from a breeder or pet shop, you too will agree!

Because we are a foster home network, we make efforts to meet adopters at times and places convenient to all involved. We do ask potential adopters to first complete a pre-adoption form, for the purpose of ensuring your compatibility with a pet, as well as your eligibility to own a pet. After the pre-adoption form is reviewed and OK'd, we require adopters to complete an adoption contract. We do not discriminate against anyone for reasons of race, religion, politics, gender, or sexual orientation; but reserve the right to refuse adoptions based on the information we interpret from these forms, with regard to legalities, and the pet's needs or requirements. We try very hard to make every adoption, a happy and satisfactory one!
