The St. Louis Senior Dog Project is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in the state of Missouri. We are an all volunteer organization that rescues dogs or all ages but especially dogs 5 years of age and older. We actively promote the adoption of older dogs. We spay/neuter all dogs, bring them up to date with shots, worm, microchip and test for heartworms. We provide our dogs with all necessary veterinary care, including treatment for such things as heartworm disease, kennel cough, pneumonia, intestinal parasites, urinary tract infections, fleas and ticks
We'd like to thank the Build-A-Bear Foundation for its grant to help us pay veterinary expenses for senior dogs. The Build-A- Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation is committed to making life more bearable for children, families and pets, in need of a helping paw With the sale of each full-sized Bearemy's Kennel Pals friend -- a collection of Build-A-Bear Workshop plush dogs -- one dollar is donated to domestic pet programs including local animal shelters, stray pet rescue and rehabbilitation organizations, and pet education programs around the country. These funds are available to qualified non-profit organizations in the United States and Canada through a quarterly grant process Visit www.buildabear.com for more information.
The St. Louis Senior Dog Project always needs foster homes for our dogs. And we're happy to accept leashes, collars and other supplies. Of course, we'll always take donations.
