ABOUT US
4 the Hounds Basset Rescue, Inc., is a small 501(c)3 non-profit rescue organization dedicated to helping basset hounds in need find safe and loving homes. We serve hounds primarily in the 4 corners area of Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas and Oklahoma, but will help any hound that needs us.

ADOPTING A FRIEND
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, checked for heartworms (treated if necessary), placed on monthly heartworm preventative, checked for intestinal parasites, checked for any other health problems and treated if needed. As a result of these costs, 4 the Hounds Basset Rescue must ask for an adoption donation to help offset our expenses.

ADOPTION FEES
Adult Dogs: $175.00 Basset mixes and 'Wannabes': $100.00 Seniors (over 8 years): $100.00 Puppies (< 6 months): $200.00 plus $100.00 spay/neuter deposit. Deposit will be refunded upon presentation of proof of spay/neuter. No exceptions.
**We are asking that adopters who pay by means other than cash or check to please donate an additional $5.00 to offset the cost of electronic transactions! Thank you!**
