We have chosen Kuranda dog beds for our boarding facilities because they are so good for our dogs. We still don't have enough for all of our kennels. If you would like to donate a bed so another dog can sleep in proper comfort, please click here.
We are located at 500 E. Industrial Drive in Caruthersville. The street runs right off South Ward Avenue in Caruthersville. If you are heading south, it is right prior to the overpass for interstate 155. From interstate 55 take exit 17A onto interstate 155 going to Dyersburg, TN then take Caruthersville exit #6 and go left over the overpass and our street is to your right at the bottom of the overpass. We handle dogs and cats mainly but sometimes other animals.
Who We Are
The Caruthersville Humane Society is located in the City of Caruthersville Animal Shelter. We have partnered with the city to try to help find homes for the animals that are dropped off at the shelter or found abandoned on the streets.
Adopting a friend
The Caruthersville Humane Society charges $45 to adopt a cat and $65 to adopt a dog. This includes the worming , first round of shots, and $45 toward a cat spay/neuter and $65 toward a dog spay/neuter with the remainder to be paid by adopter. We try to work with everyone to help find the pet that is most suited to them and their lifestyle.

We are located at 500 East Industrial Drive in Caruthersville. Caruthersville is located in the bootheel of Missouri. We are 3 hours south of St. Louis and 1 1/2 hours north of Memphis 5 miles off Interstate 55. We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10am to 4pm and the first and third Saturday 11am to 3pm for adoptions. The animals love to have visitors so stop by and see what we have.
