We are a no-kill animal hospital that is trying to find responsible homes for homeless, neglected, and abused animals in our area. We are trying to educate the public to spay and neuter to prevent the sad over population problem and put a end to euthanasia and to adopt rather than buy from pet stores . Every adoption helps us to save the next one.
Adopting a friend
I'm looking out for the best interest of the animals. There is a screening process which includes: application, vet reference, telephone interview, and a home visit. Certain animals have certain needs and even though you may qualify to adopt, you may not be the right home for a certain animal. Please understand that the screening process is to ensure that the animal does not go back to a situation that is not in that animals best interest. There is a 24-48 hour processing time once I receive your application. This prevents impulse adoptions and gives me time to review your application and complete your vet reference. Please be patient and understand that this is volunteer work which I fit into a already busy schedule. I reserve the right to refuse adoption to anyone.
DOGS: All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm checked, on heartworm prevention, vaccinated, wormed, and Advantaged.
Adoption fee is 100.00-200.00 depending on the dog and individual expenses. A fenced yard is required on all dogs.
CATS: All cats are spayed/neutered, FLV/FIV negative, vaccinated, wormed, and Advantaged. Adoption fee is 75.00 for most cats.
RABBITS: All rabbits are spayed/neutered. Adoption fee is 30.00 each and most rabbits are already paired up and bonded and need to be adopted together in pairs.
