Who We Are

We are a Non-profit 501(c)(3) Small Breed Dog Rescue Organization run exclusively by VOLUNTEERS both men and women. All of our animals are housed in foster homes, to help promote a stable, loving environment until they can find their forever new home. Small Dog Rescue of MN is not obligated to release the outcome information of animals surrendered to the organization. Small Dog Rescue of MN also does NOT negotiate adoption fee's on our dogs. The adoption fee is non-refundable and considered a donation to our mission.

Our purpose is to reduce the stray population and need for healthy animal adoptions (both young and seniors) through spay/neuter, education, and promotion of respect for the less fortunate animals that share our lives. SDR does have a specialty of assisting with placement of Senior dogs as our money allows us. We want to thank our vets for their support, Dr. CARISSA WILLIAMSON of Oakwood Pet Clinic and Hopkins Pet Hospital.

We DESPERATELY need more DEDICATED foster homes to be able to continue our efforts. OUR WEBPAGE @ HTTP://WWW.SDROFMN.ORG

PLEASE E-MAIL FOR VOLUNTEER APPLICATION.

WE are a group that has NO PAID help, we are ALL volunteers and ALL of the money we have GOES strictly for the animals and their needs.

We are a 501(c)(3) non profit rescue and if you work for a company that makes MATCHING donations, your company Will match if you make ANY amount of donation to our group. This is an easy process and that will help with the vet bills of our dogs.

DONATIONS OF: GAS cards- the less we have to pay for gas the more we can assist with transports! We also need POISE PADS, cleaning products (MOPS, Floor cleaners, laundry soap etc. (ALL are tax deductible) and WASHABLE pee pads (nursing home bed pads)

If you are interested in one of our animals please fill out an adoption application for that animal. Appilcation is REQUIRED on any adoption. Our Adoption Application is available from the link below in MICROSOFT WORD. We also have a text version of our application which can be copy and pasted into an email body.

We all work different schedules. ALWAYS put your name, email address, and telephone number on any correspondence with our group. .

Come See us at adoption days.
