Shelter Hours:

Monday - Friday: 11:00am-5:00pm

Saturday and Sunday: 12:00pm-4:00pm

These hours may change on holidays or due to weather conditions.

Adoption Fees:

Dogs

Puppies - $200 (4 months and younger are $250)

Small Breed Adult Dogs - $175-$200

Large Breed & Medium Breed Female Dogs - $140

Large Breed & Medium Breed Male Dogs - $125

Senior Dogs- Around $100 to cover expenses

Pit Bull Breed (adults only)- $150 (for pups, see above)

Purebred Dogs- $200 or greater (depends on the breed)

Cats

Kittens 0-12 months - $75

Adult Cats (1 year and up) - $50

Declawed Cats - $50

Other Fees:

Impound/Claim Fee - $25 per animal

Dogs - $15 per night

Cats - $10 per night

Rabies Shot if not Current - $25

Surrender Fees:

Dogs: Within Kandiyohi/Meeker Counties- $35 Outside of Counties- $40

Cats: Within Kandiyohi/Meeker Counties- $25 Outside of Counties- $30

Kitten Litters: $10 per Kitten*

Puppy Litters: $15 per Pup*

*prices may drop due to litter size

Note: These are generally the fees charged. However, depending on circumstance, we may charge more or less than the above stated fees.

Volunteering and Donating

If you love animals, the Humane Society is a great place to give some of your time to help save the ones that are less fortunate. We also satisfy all types of "fur fixes" for those that can't have animals or just can't get enough! If you are interested in fundraising or would like to help in ANY other way, please contact us! We are always in need of volunteers to play with and socialize the pets. We also are always in need of donations. If you would like to volunteer, please contact the shelter at (320) 235-7612. Items that we are always in need of are: dog and cat food (Science Diet canned and dry), clay litter, towels/bedding, grooming supplies (brushes, combs, shampoo), dog and cat treats, chew toys, etc. If you would like to donate, please call the shelter at the number listed above or you can drop it off at the shelter during viewing hours.
