Who We Are
Noah's Bark animal orphanage started up in the year of 2000'. We hope you will find just what you are looking for on our pet list. Descriptions and personalities, and pictures are available under more info on each pet. At this time Noah's Bark is soley supported by the animals it adopts out and the drop off charges. We always welcome volunteers to help work the shelter. It is best to call me by phone instead of E-mailing if you are really serious about adopting a certain pet-as I don't always get time to answer my E-mails right away. I usually answer back my phone messages within a 1 to a 12 hour period. Noah's Bark accepts any type of donations. We are not State, Federal or grant funded at this time. We operate solely on what we get for the pets adopted out. If you would like to donate to the shelter, we are in need of the following. Leashes, Collars, Dog food of any kind, (Beneful if my favorite). Puppy food. (Purina Puppy Chow if what I buy when I purchase it). Blankets, Towels, paper towels, Garbage bags. Laundry Soap, Dishsoap, Treats, Toys, Disenfectant, And of course money for Utiities, (LP Gas, Phone, Electric ). Vet Bills, Vaccinations, Wormer, Antibiotics, Office supplies, Advertising,Gas to transport, etc........ It can be very costly to operate a shelter, so any donations are appreciated.
All of the animals that come into the shelter are surrendered, rescued or unwanted litters of puppies due to not neuturing and spaying. We hope you will enjoy viewing the website and hope you will find the right pet for you and your family. The Shelter address has changed to Decorah Iowa, so at a later date you will only be able to bring up the website at Decorah, Iowa not Canton Minnesota.
Adopting a friend
All animals that come into Noah's Bark are updated on all of thier shots and wormed. This is included in the adoption price. Noahs Bark, Inc has a 501c3 . So all donations are tax deductable.We try to Spay and Neuter as many animals as our funds will let us. For those not fixed you are required to sign a Neuter / Spay contract, in which you will be given a certain amount of time to Spay or Neuter the animal. Please call for an appt or questions. Any volunteers are greatly appreciated. If you are interested in fostering give me a call.

Canton, Minnesota is located in Southeast Minnesota. Right on the Iowa Minnesota border. One hour south of Rochester off of Highway 52. And 1 hour from Lacrosse 44 to 52. We are located 2-1/4 miles south of Canton. All adoptions are done by appointment, but we are real flexable on hours and work with the clients scheduale. We also do weekend and evening appointments. Schedualing appointments give me more one on one attention with clients as it is difficult to do more than one adoption at a time. So please call for you appointment today. Also please don't use mapquest-as it will take you the opposite direction you need to go. I would be happy to give you directions to the shelter.
