Meet Missy!

This gorgeous little girl is named Missy. She was born approximately November 2008. She came to Cause For Paws after being abandoned at a Petco store. Missy is very sweet and quiet. The only time she makes noise is when she is confined to a carrier or kennel. Missy loves to look out the window and perch as high as possible on the scratching post. She is very submissive and will sometimes get picked on by the other cats. Because of this, she would do best in a home as the only pet.

She likes to have you pet her and will seek you out for attention. Missy has lived with children and adults in her previous home. Missy does like to sit by the back door and try to get outside. Due to this, she cannot go to a home with small children. She is the sweetest cat and deserves a permanent home of her own.

Cause for Paws is a small all-volunteer Minnesota nonprofit 501 (c) (3) group whose main focus is on finding homes for stray and abandoned cats and kittens. Cause for Paws fosters these cats in our own private homes. We don't have a central facility. Upon intake, every Cause for Paws cat is examined by a veterinarian, provided with any medical care the cat may need, such as dental work, blood profiles, surgery or prescriptive medicine. Each cat is tested for Feline leukemia/FIV; vaccinated against rabies and distemper good for one year; wormed; treated with Revolution for fleas, ticks, and other parasites; is spayed or neutered; and implanted with a microchip and the chip is enrolled.

Each foster family gets to know their kitties very well. Our goal is to select the kitty of your dreams and the family that the cat dreams of! To find out more, please email Cause for Paws at cause4paws@hotmail.com (please be sure to include your daytime and night time phone numbers!) or call Cause for Paws at 952-259-1483. Ask about adoption fees and upcoming adoption days, too! Thank you.
