Jubilee - Jubie is a 2-3yr old pittie mix, she is about 55lb and gets aong with everyone. She is fully house trained, kennels fine and LOVES people. She is great with all animals as well. Please open your home to this sweet girl!

Who We Are

Wags & Whiskers Animal Rescue is dedicated to saving lives and finding forever homes for stray, abandoned and surrendered dogs in high kill shelters. We are a small, no-kill, volunteer run organization. All of our dogs listed are in foster homes waiting to be adopted and because of this, we get to know the dogs' personalities very well and use this information to match them to an appropriate home. We do not have a physical shelter. This rescue is not funded by public funds nor does it receive many donations so it is dependent on adoption fees to keep operating. We have a great need for foster homes. If you are interested in providing foster care, and live near Twin Cities, please e-mail us. we provide all needed supplies and cover medical costs Donations ALWAYS needed are: dog toys, puppy pee pads, natures miracle (for pet stain removal), Puppy/dog/kitten/cat food, cleaning supplies, paper towels, large clean towels, dog crates, leashes, collars, and gas cards to help with our transports.

Adopting a friend

We only adopt out animals to homes within 60 miles of the Twin Cities, or a 30 minute radius of Duluth, Rochester, and Mankato! Our adoption process includes adoption application. After reviewing your application a meeting is scheduled between you and the pet, in the fosters home or a neutral dog friendly place. If there are any resident dogs are in your home, it is required that the dogs meet at this time. After the meeting a home visit is scheduled and if everything goes well with the visit the adoption is finalized at that time. A home visit by one our representatives is REQUIRED prior to finalizing any adoption and we must meet all members of the household where the pet will be living sometime during the adoption process. We reserve the right to refuse any applicant for any reason Adoption fee includes vet exam(s) , spay/neuter, de-wormings, heartworm test (if 6 months of age or older) and up-to-date vaccinations. **Microchip available for a $20 donation to the rescue** **We would also Like to thank Lexington Pet Clinic for offering a free office visit to all of our new adoptive parents** Please note, Email is the best way to get a fast response, feel free to call us, but due to the high volume of calls we receive daily, it may take up to one week for your call to be returned ***the first step to the adoption process is to fill out the adoption application at our website, www.wagsmn.com. once that is completed, it will be reviewed and the foster parent will call you to set up a time to meet your new family member***

Maple Grove on saturday 11/14 from 11am to 3pm, and St louis Park sunday 11/15 from 11 am to 3pm We will have many adoptable dogs and puppies, and maybe a kitten or two... Please stop in and play with some puppies! Please email us in advance if you are interested in a specific dog or cat, we wil do our best to have them at the event
