Twin Cities Bullmastiff Rescue
Our Featured Pet...
Please check out our featured bullmastiff, Olivia! They don't come any sweeter than Olivia, but she does have some special needs that should be kept in mind. If you are searching for a bullmastiff of a specific age or sex that's not listed here, please refer to http://bullmastiff.us/rescue/index.html for dogs available. Thank you!

Who We Are
Twin Cities Bullmastiff Rescue is funded entirely through private donations and adoption fees. Bullmastiffs in need are placed in foster homes while their health and temperament are evaluated. After they are deemed adoptable they are heartworm tested, vaccinated, microchipped, and sterilized. Once health needs are met they are placed in thoroughly screened homes.
We use a rigorous application procedure and a strict adoption contract to facilitate lasting placements. After a placement is made it is followed up with phone calls and home visits to give every possibility that the placement works well for everyone involved.
Though we are not 501C3, we are non-profit. We can always use donations such as quality dogfood, crate blankets or comforters, and toys to help keep our charges happy while they are in our care. Please contact Kelli at bmfrescue@hotmail.com if you would like to inquire about how to help a rescued bullmastiff.
Adopting a friend
When you inquire about adopting a rescued bullmastiff the first thing we ask you to do is fill out an Application for Adoption. This is a form that allows us to learn about you and your family, and in turn you are able to specify what you are looking for. We ask for references and we DO check them. We will have a representative that lives in your vicinity come by your home for a visit. This process usually takes several weeks. We will notify you either by phone or letter as to whether or not we can place a dog with you. Adoption fees do apply, in order to help offset the costs of our dogs. Please remember, our goal is to adopt these bullmastiffs into their final home. We have found that such a rigorous application procedure helps us to realize this goal.
