Who We Are
We are a municipal animal shelter. We assist Last Hope, Inc. as a boarding facility as well as provide medical services that are needed. We also rescue strays that are not claimed by their owners from the Northfield City pound. All pets avaiable for adoption are fixed and vaccinations are up to date. Adopting a friend
Animals available for adoption can be visited during our office hours, preferably by appointment. Adoption fees cover the cost of Veterinary exam, basic vaccinations, deworming and other routine procedures. Alteration of animals and other services provided by our staff are additional. We are a Veterinary Clinic and also provide emergency and surgical services.

We are open weekdays 8am to 12noon and 1pm to 5pm, Saturdays 9am to 12noon. We are located in Dr. Garlie's Veterinary Clinic in downtown Northfield, on Division Street, just South of Fifth Street, on the West side of the Street. Nearby businesses include Buzz Salon, Grundy's Rueb N' Stein, Edward Jones, Willie's Shoe Service, and B & L Pizza. Call with any questions during business hours, and come to see the animals when you're in the neighborhood.
