URGENTLY NEED YOUR HELP!!! Northfield Animal Shelter needs foster homes and new families for cats and kittens we have rescued due to flooded homes and the closing of a shelter in Iowa that asked for our help. Without our help these pets would have been euthanized along with hundreds of others that have lost their homes and families. All adults have been altered, vaccinated and tested for parasites and disease. Kittens will have certificate for future services and discounts. If there is anything that you may have to offer please contact Jennifer at 612-810-6041.

Who We Are

We are a municipal animal shelter. We assist Last Hope, Inc., Secondhand Hounds, and S.M.A.R.T. rescues as a boarding facility, as well as provide medical services that are needed. We also rescue strays that are outside the city limits of Northfield. All pets avaiable for adoption are fixed and vaccinations are up to date. For more information on our pets available for adoption keep watching Petfinder.com or contact us directly at 507-645-5327 for the latest additions to our big family.

Adopting a friend

Animals available for adoption may be seen during regular business hours, preferably by appointment. Adoption fees cover the cost of the veterinary care, basic vaccinations, deworming and other routine procedures. Additional alterations of animals and other services/vaccinations provided by our staff are at an additional cost to you, the new owner. We are a Veterinary Clinic and provide quality pet care, emergency, and surgical services.
