Friends for Animal Welfare is located in northern Minnesota and concentrates its efforts in Itasca County and nearby communities.
Priorities include but are not limited to the following areas:
Responding to abuse/neglect complaints -
Spay/Neuter program -
Donating pets for seniors/search/rescue/arson/therapy,etc-
Rescue/Care/Adoption -
Construction of a new "Community Shelter"

FFAW operates a Thrift Shop (all items donated) in Grand Rapids as well as a Consignment Bridal and Formalwear Shop (most gowns are new )- both located at the junction of Hwy #2 West and Cty Rd #63 - phone is 999-5611. Aluminum can recycling/donation trailer is located at the store also. Every little bit helps.All proceeds benefit our programs. SO CLEAN OUT THOSE CLOSETS AND GARAGES AND BRING IT ON DOWN !!!
We now accept donations through paypal. Anyone who gives a donation of $5.00 or more has a choice of receiving either a puppy paw or kitty paw necklace. You may leave your choice on the paypal donation site along with your info where you would like to have your necklace sent.
