Second Chance Animal Rescue

Our Mission

Second Chance Animal Rescue™ is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) all volunteer animal rescue organization dedicated to rescuing, caring for and adopting dogs and cats into permanent loving homes. We do not have a facility - all of our animals are cared for in volunteer foster homes.

Our organization goes beyond the confines of shelter walls to build an extensive network of knowledgeable, experienced, talented and caring individuals focused on quality of animal care and services; animal welfare education; positive people/animal relationships; and cooperative rescue efforts. We educate the public on respect for all animal life including the importance of spaying and neutering dogs and cats in order to reduce the number of animals euthanized.
