Furever Tails Animal Rescue
Our Mission
Furever Tails Animal Rescue is a non-profit, 501c3, no-kill, foster home based animal rescue. Our mission is to Rescue, Rehome and Reunite! We rescue animals in risk of being euthanized in high kill shelters and intake surrendered animals based on foster home availability. We also focus efforts on assisting with reuniting misplaced animals with their rightful owners. Furever Tails Animal Rescue is based out of Oakland Twp, MI and does not discriminate against any breeds. We are the voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.
Adoption Policy
Our primary adoption area is within the state of Michigan. We are currently not adopting out of state.
Applications must be completed and approved prior to meeting or adopting an animal.
You must be 18 years or older to adopt.
All members of the family must be present in order to adopt. We want to make sure it’s a good fit for everyone!
The applicant must be willing to undergo reference checks and a visit to the home where the dog will reside.
Renters must provide a copy of their lease (including pet policy).
All current canine/feline must be spayed/neutered and up to date on shots. All dogs must be on heartworm preventative and felines must be FeLV/FIV tested.
A vet reference is required on all previous and current pets.
