PLEASE READ:
Our goal during the application process is to find a home that is best suited for the dog and the adopter. Should multiple applications arrive for one particular dog we process each application and then determine which applicant is the best home for the dog.
We will be showing our adoptable dogs on Saturdays at
Pet Supplies Plus 3110 W. Silver Lake Road Fenton, MI 48430 from 11 AM until 3 PM, or by appointment. Pet Supplies Plus is located just west of US-23, exit 79, on Silver Lake Road in Fenton.

Who We Are
Rescue One is comprised of volunteers donating their time and love. We do not receive any money from city, county, state or federal governments. The volunteers are not paid except with pupster kisses and adoration. We rescue dogs from local animal shelters, animal control facilities and private owners. All are fostered in our homes until they find their Forever Home. All vetting needs are addressed upon arrival with the appropriate follow up vet visits. We do adopt out of state, but request that the Adopter fly in or drive in to get the baby.
Adopting A Friend
Our adoption procedure includes an Application, followed by a Verification of References. We do adopt nationally, but request that the Adopter fly in or drive in to get the baby.
NOTE: Our first reference call is made to the vet. Following are our vetting requirements and applicant will NOT be considered if the following is not on record:
UTD on all shots (Rabies and Distemper)
Yearly Heartworm Test and applicable medication that applies
Please, to save us time and telephone expense, do not apply for one of our rescue dogs if this criteria has not been met.
