Our Mission

Misfit Angels Rescue is a 501(c)3 registered non-profit organization, foster-home based Michigan, focusing on Wayne, Macomb and St Clair counties. We are a group of volunteers whose mission is to rescue, provide housing, and ultimately re-home abandoned, stray, unwanted and neglected animals. We rescue pull from several county shelters also.
Misfit Angels Rescue dogs are housed in individual foster homes where they can decompress and where they are provided with love, food, toys, basic training and any medical attention that may be required to insure that they are in good health before adoption. All Misfit Angels spayed/neutered, Up to date on vaccines, heartworm tested(treated if positive), on preventative and microchipped before being placed into their new home. Training includes basic commands.Â
Misfit Angels Rescue evaluates for temperament and personality. This helps us to place them in homes that are well suited to the potential adoptive family and our Misfit Angels dog.

Adoption Policy

~Fill out an adoption application at www.misfitangelsrescue.org
~If the application is a match to the inquired pet, we will call to set up a day and time for you to visit at the their foster home, or your home
~After the meet and greet, we would then schedule a day to come to your home for a visit. If things go well he/she can stay that day for a trial period
~All of our dogs have a 10 day trial adoption to ensure a perfect match
~After the trial period we will then come back with all vet paperwork and final adoption contract!
