June is Adopt a Cat Month!!!! During June the adoption fee for all cats/kittens has been reduced to $10. Anyone who adopts a cat from us during the month of June will have their name placed in a drawing for a cat gift basket which will include $200 worth of gift certificates for cat food and litter. We have lots of nice cats and kittens available for adoption. If you would like to help a cat find a home but are unable to add one to your family at this time, please consider being a sponsor. By sponsoring you help Pet Pals defray the cost of spaying/neutering your selected cat/kitten. This in turns allows us to lower the adoption rate for that pet which will help him/her find a home faster.
We are in need of individuals who are willing to volunteer for short term foster care for homeless cats and dogs. Please contact Geri 293-3965 if you are interested in being added to the list of potential foster homes. We have some limited funds available to help spay/neuter cats and dogs. Luce County Pet Pals Inc. is a non-profit organization concerned with the welfare of Companion animals. We are currently raising money for construction of a safe and humane animal shelter for our area as Luce County does not have an animal shelter. We also raise money for financial assistance for spay/neuter surgeries and care of homeless animals. If you are a resident of Luce County or the surrounding counties and need financial assistance to spay or neuter your pet, please download a copy of an application off our website.
The adoption fee for cats/kittens is $60 and the adoption fee for dogs/puppies is $90. If the cat/kitten is already spayed/neutered when they come to us the adoption fee is $20. If the dog/puppy is already spayed or neutered when they come to us the adoption fee is $50. This adoption fee covers their spay/neuter, rabies and first vaccination.
