SPECIAL ADOPTION FEES ON FELINES!!! In an effort to find our wonderful cats their forever home, we have reduced our adoption fees on felines. ALL ADULT CATS ARE $65.00!
Who We Are
A New Leash On Life is a non-profit, no-kill organization dedicated to rescuing dogs and cats from high kill shelters in and around Michigan. We rely on a network of fosters to care for 'unwanted' companion animals until they can be placed in loving, permanent homes.
Adopting a friend
To adopt a pet from us, you must first fill out an adoption application. It will then be reviewed and we will contact you, ususally within 24 hours. Once approved, it may be possible to meet the pet in person before our weekend adoption event. However, we are all volunteers with busy schedules so please be patient with us. You are always welcome to come visit us at our Petco adoptions (adoption event schedule will always be posted on this page). We do same day adoptions, so please be prepared to bring your new family member home. This includes having a carrier for a cat or a collar, leash and ID tag for a dog. All of these items may be purchased at Petco.
Puppies 4 months and under $250.00-$350.00 ($50 refunded after spay/neuter) Puppies 6 months and under already neutered $250.00

Dogs over 6 years (excluding small and toy breeds) $125.00
