Freya is about 9mths old and ~40#,She was adopted out as a small puppy, and was returned because her family didn't socialize her well enough and she became too much to handle along with their young children.
We recommend a family with dog knowledge, she should be enrolled in classes, and continue work on her socialization outside the home.
In the home she is a sweet and loving little girl with lots of play and affection to give, and is house broken.
DONATIONS TO HELP COVER HER CARE ARE BEING ACCEPTED.
If you would like to donate to the care of Freya, please visit herpetfinder page by clicking on the "Freya" link and click on the "sponsor me" link within her petfinder page.
Who We Are
Many of the faces you are familiar with now have a new name, Forever Friends Rescue. We are a group of people who have worked with other rescue organizations in the past, and have now come together to form a new group. Our main focus is to find new, forever homes for pets who have been lost, left behind when their family lost their home, surrendered due to a change in family circumstances, or are just not being cared for properly. All of our animals are housed in foster homes until they find their forever family, are spayed or neutered, and are up-to-date on their vaccinations. Cats are tested for feline immunodeficiency virus and leukemia. Dogs are tested for heartworm.
We make every effort to find the right match for our pets and for your family.
Adopting a friend
We are a foster based rescue so we don't have a kennel. However, we show animals at 4061 Miller Rd, Flint, MI 48507 at the PetSmart store. We are there on Saturdays from 12 to 4PM and Sundays from 1 to 4PM. If there is a particular animal that you are interested in, please contact the foster parent that is listed on the PetFinder page to be sure that they are going to be at the store on any given day.
