We are an All Breed rescue that is all Volunteer, non-profit with the mission to rescue, protect and place dogs that have been neglected, abandoned or abused into loving homes. We are a foster based rescue, solely dependent upon fundraising events and private donation to support its causes. We are a 501c3 Organization, so all donations are tax deductible. K9 Resque raises the public's awareness of their plight and provides food donations and other assistance to those caregivers in economic distress/emergency and disasters.

Mitzie is a former breeder, who now wants a better life. She is playful, she can sit up and beg, and even dance around on her hind legs for attention. She has character, and personality. She is learning proper house manners with wee wee pads. She longs for a house and a family of her own!
We are not a shelter, we are a rescue that is supported by Foster homes all over Michigan. We treat our rescue dogs like Family.
We are looking for volunteers to help with adoption events, and transporting our dogs to the adoption events and to the local vet. Please contact if you are able to help us.
The adoption fee includes, a Vet Exam, age appropriate Vaccinations, and de-worming. and Altered if possible.
Dog Adoption Fees:: Females are $250.00 and Males are $200.00 Mature Pets will be a lower fee.
K9 Resque Adoption Procedures:
After an adoption application has been submitted for consideration, we will process that application ( this can take up to one week), and home checks are required for adoption. We match families with dogs, IT IS NOT FIRST COME FIRST SERVED.
We will not adopt out pups under the age of 6 months to families with children under the age of 5 years old.
We only adopt out to Michigan-Ohio-Indiana

We only take dogs from death row at shelters, for they need to be saved from the certain fate, if no one will adopt them.
