Like many Cattle Dogs, Danko was very misunderstood. He was also deprived of food and fun. He is obsessed over him toys and eats his food without taking a breath. He is the most loving, fun dog I've seen come out of a shelter. Danko will need a home is a special understanding of his needs, and lots of time and love to give him. Poor GW arrived with mold all over his feathers! Bud was going to be put to sleep by his previous owner for been "dangerous and hyperactive" little did they know, once Bud was given time out of his cage he became the friendliest GW Macaw you could ever ask for! Now Bud lives CAGE FREE all day here at our home.
Bud is not up for adoption due to his exceptionally unpredictable nature.

Who We Are
Peace Paws is a not for profit, no-kill animal rescue run out of our home. Our primary focus is herding dogs, and special birds. Unfortunately we cannot save everything, so our bird intake is especially limited.
Adopting a friend
Our adoption procedure includes the submission of an adoption application as well as your signature on Peace Paws adoption contract. We want to ensure that our rescue animals never need rescuing again after they leave our care.
