In an effort to save more dogs and cats from Jackson County Animal Control we're asking for your help!Ever think you might like to open your home to a foster animal?
Ever consider adopting but wish you could get to know the animal first?
Maybe you're not sure what fostering entails. Perhaps you have lots of questions but you're not sure who to ask. We may have the perfect solution. We're looking for dedicated animal lovers to give a hand and a temporary home to some very deserving animals. Bonnie!
Poor Bonnie has already had to be a mother, and has had no time to enjoy her younger years just being a kitty. Now that her kittens have all found homes, please consider giving this little mama a home of her very own. Bonnie gets along with other cats and dogs and would be a great addition to any household.
Who We Are
Take Paws is a rescue for all breeds of dogs and cats!
We have limited space as all of our fosters/rescues are kept in our home but it gives us the advantage of knowing each animal individually.
We do not accept owner surrender animals as all of our fosters come from Jackson County Animal Control.
All of our cats and dogs are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, prior to being placed up for adoption.
Why We Are
The Humane Society of the Untied States estimates that every year 6-8 million cats & dogs enter shelters. Every year 3-4 million cats & dogs are euthanized in those shelters.
One adoptive family at a time, we hope to spread overpopulation awareness and promote spay/neuter of all companion animals.
All of our fosters are taken from Jackson County Animal Control as their time there runs out.
