Who We Are
We are a County Operated Governmental Animal Control facility. We enforce the MCL laws and investigate cruelty complaints serving the Osceola County Michigan area. Our Director is Mr. Alan A. Benson. Contact us at www.oscacontrol@sbcglobal.net
Adopting a friend
Unless an animal is surrendered to the shelter, we hold all strays for 4 working days if the arrive without a collar, and 7 working days if they arrive with a collar. Then they are eligible for adoption. Our fees are $45.00 for a Dog, $40.00 for a puppy. $30.00 for a cat and $27.00 for a kitten. All adopted animals require a $25.00 security deposit until adoptor provides proof of Spaying or Neutering. And Dogs require a $10.00 security deposit until proof of valid rabies is provided. BOTH ARE INCLUDED IN THE FEE PRICES ABOVE. This leaves a net cost to adoptor of only $10.00 dog, $5.00 puppy, $5.00 cat, and $2.00 kitten.
