Who We Are
Adopting a friend
To adopt a friend from the Benzie County Animal Shetler. It is $10.00 for a cat or kitten and $20.00 for a dog or puppy. If the pet is not altered there is a refundable $25.00 deposit on any pet.

The shelter is located next to the Benzie County Sheriff's Office and Goverment complex between Beulah and Benzonia.
Coming from the North and traveling down US31 heading south. Once you come into Beulah, which sits on the shores of beautiful Crystal Lake, you will stay on US 31, as you are leaving the valley that Beulah sits in please remain in the left, traveling lane. You will see the Goverment Office building to the left, go pass that drive-way and prepare to turn left into the drive-way into the Sheriff's Office. Once off US 31 you will turn into the drive-way to the right of the start of the main drive-way. There is a brown metal sign at our drive-way.
Coming from the south you will also be on US31 coming out of Benzonia. You will go straight at the traffic light at the north intersection of US31 and M115. Once through the light you will be traveling down a hill going into Beulah. You will pass the turn off to Downtown Beulah, which goes to the left. You will be turning right into the Sheriff's Office. There is a Shelter sign a few yards before drive way when coming from the south. Once turned off US31 you will want to again turn right, right away into our parking lot.
