Who We Are
We are a small private foster network dedicated to assisting felines in need in St. Clair County. Most of our adoptables were previously strays or were relinquished due to owner illness. We are a group of dedicated people who rescue cats simply because we love them and see the need to offer our assistance. Currently, we are NOT accepting cats into rescue because of our limited foster space. All of our foster cats are well loved, tested for FIV/FeLV, receive the best vet care and are feed a high quality diet (Nutro Foods). We will do our best to help you find the purrfect friend for life! Occassionally, we will post cats that are not part of our rescue in the hopes that we can assist other cats in need that we do not have foster space for. We cannot guarentee that these other cats are up to date on vet care.
Adopting a friend
If you see a special feline you are interested in, please email or call for more information. Since our felines are housed in private foster homes, we ask that you fill out an application first and once it is approved you than can make arrangements to visit your chosen feline. We do suggest an adoption donation of $65 per cat or $100 for two cats to help offset the cost of vet care, food, etc. Ocassionaly, we will adopt cats out with no adoption fee.
All of our special felines are only adopted to homes that will keep them indoors in a safe, loving environment. In order to be considered as an adopter you must: be 21 years of age or older, have the knowledge and consent of your landlord (if you rent), have identification showing your present address and be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide medical treatment and proper care for a pet. Completion of an application does not guarantee adoption of a Mayhem and Morsels cat.
