Lexi is a young spayed female Pit Bull mix. She arrived as a stray in May and is still in need of a permanent home. Lexii is very sweet, good with children, and good with other dogs. She is currently in a foster home and doing very well with training. She has current vaccinations and is ready to go to a permanent home immediately! Please contact the shelter if you are interested. The foster parent will be happy to bring Lexi in for a meet and greet!
Mikey arrived in June as a tiny kitten. He is now about 6 months old and has grown to be a very handsome cat! He is sweet and playful! Mikey would really love to come home with you! He gets along with the other cats and is pretty mellow. Please visit him in our adoption room.
Duncan is about 7 months old now and has spent 5 months of his life at the shelter! This sweet guy and his brothers deserve so much more out of life! Please come in and visit them in our adoption room. They are all very handsome and friendly boys!
Drake is a beautiful 7 month old male who arrived in early May with his mother and siblings. Mom and sis have left the shelter but the three boys are still waiting for a loving family to take them home!! Drake and his brothers can be visited in our adoption room. They are sweet, playful, and very outgoing!
*-* We do not adopt out dogs to be outdoor dogs/pets. We adopt out our dogs only to be a part of the family and
*-* If you rent, lease, or live with parents you need to provide a document stating that you are allowed to have pets or a
phone number that we may contact that parent or landlord to ask permission to adopt an animal.
*-* Also if you currently own a dog, you need to have a current license and rabies vaccine for that dog to
be able to adopt a new dog from our shelter.
*-* We also do not adopt out pets as gifts. Unless the person you are purchasing the pet for is present at the time of the
adoption or if we have a phone number that we may contact that person.
*-* You must be at least 18 years of age or have a legal guardian with you to adopt an animal from our shelter or to come
through our shelter.
If you see a pet on Petfinder.com, come on down to the shelter or call us at (989) 797-4504. If you see one of our pets on WNEM TV5 Saturday or Sunday, and you want to adopt, be the first in line at 8am Monday morning.
We adopt on a First Come-First Served Basis for WNEM TV5 pets and cannot hold animals.......you can call or email us for more information, but you must come in person to adopt. Remember, there is always a pet in need of your love.
